The Historical Archive of the Presidency of the Republic (AHPR) has the mission of ensuring the preservation of the memory of the presidential function and the documentary heritage of the Presidency of the Republic. Its collection is essentially constituted by the documentation received and produced by the President of the Republic and by the respective support bodies and services. It has documentation from the implantation of the Republic to the present and ensures that the collection is available to its custody to researchers and the general public.
